Introduction
Findarunner is a unique website and a novel way to source media crew, in this case 'runners'. Tens of thousands of people graduate each year and enter the film and television industry. The usual entry level into the industry is by starting out as a 'runner'. It is a cut throat business with literally thousands competing for the same jobs everyday but there are opportunities out there for newcomers and aspiring film makers and runners have to be active, tenacious and promote themselves as much and as often as possible. You need to stand out from the crowd and get as much experience as you possibly can. At Findarunner you can do this and your exposure is instant and not lost in classified sub pages or in the bin.
Your photo will be visible on the home page and when a potential employer clicks on your photo your profile / CV will appear. They can view all the necessary details about you and if they wish to book you for a job they can simply click the 'BOOK ME' button which will take them to a booking form where they will fill out all of the job details. This form will be sent to us in order for us to process the booking. We first verify their details in case they are bogus bookings, if ok we contact you, check your availability and then send you a job confirmation.
For the Runner:
TO UPLOAD YOUR PROFILE - This is what you do:
FIRSTLY - Click the 'REGISTER' button or run your mouse over the 'profile area' and click through.
STEP 1 - Choose & click the desired position on the grid to reserve your 'Runner Profile Advert'
STEP 2 - Upload your photo (follow the instructions on page) & fill in your contact details.
STEP 3 - Make your payment online using credit card or Paypal using the online payment platform
STEP 4 - Your password & username will be sent to you by email so you can Login to upload your profile details
FINALLY - We will activate your account - Job Done!
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GET A BOOKING?
Our booking team will contact you by email, text or phone and inform you of the job and check your availability.
If you are a free and happy to accept the job we will then confirm the booking with the client and provide them with your details and vice versa.
We then suggest that you contact the client to introduce yourself and firm up the details.
All contracts, agreements & billing will be done between you and the client.
You will invoice direct

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Your advert will online and visible for 6 months.
Fee: £50.00 for the 6 month period - (works out about £8.33 per month)

For all Potential Employers:
When crewing for your next production, event or project we've made it easier for you to source and choose your runners. This is a FREE service to the industry and very easy to use.
All you need to do is the following:
On the home page, simply browse over the runners on show and click on their images to view their profiles.
Once you have chosen the runner you wish to employ for your production click the 'BOOK ME' button which will take you to the booking form.
You will be required to fill in all the details on the form for the job in order to process the booking.
Our production partner 'The Runners' Club' will manage & procees the booking and contact the runner to check their availability.
Once the runner confirms the booking we will notify you of this by email along with their details & then instruct the runner to then contact you direct.
Job Done!
Please Note: Our Runners' details are not displayed on their profile for obvious reasons but in particular to protect them from bogus companies & bookings. Each booking is checked and processed by our team for the safety of our runners.
If for any reason the runner you chose is not available, then our team will step in and automatically source you an alternative runner. We will inform you of this in case you have any particular requirements. Each runner booked will invoice you direct and all further communication will be between you and the runner.
